Senior Clinician - Westchester Community 

JOB HIGHLIGHTS: As part of a dynamic, diverse team of passionate advocates, committed to transforming the world, you will deliver culturally relevant, trauma-informed, evidence-based counseling services for the youngest survivors of domestic violence.

MAIN AREAS OF FOCUS:
The Senior Clinician will provide trauma-informed, evidence-based counseling to children and familiesimpacted by domestic violence while offering supervisory support and mentorship to a team of clinicians. This role focuses on domestic violence and children’s counseling, utilizing frameworks such as the Attachment, Regulation, and Competency (ARC) Framework and the Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACES) Scale to provide trauma-informed care. The Senior Clinician will engage in interdisciplinary collaboration, working closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure  comprehensive support for clients. Additionally, the role involves community outreach and engagement, strengthening partnerships and improving the
systemic response to domestic violence.

LOCATION: This opportunity is based in Westchester County, New York, providing counseling services delivered in a variety of settings currently performed in a hybrid between remote (phone and TeleHealth) as well as in-person.

JOB OVERVIEW: As a Senior Clinician, you will work to further MSP’s mission in accordance with our guiding principles in a key role that combines direct clinical service with supervisory and supportive functions. This position is designed for an experienced clinician who will provide high-quality trauma-informed counseling while offering clinical guidance and mentorship to a team of clinicians.

You will work collaboratively with project partners and maintain strong connections to all other MSP program areas, including our Shelter, Family Services Unit, and Center for Legal Services. In this role, you will also contribute to program development, staff training, and interagency collaboration to enhance the overall response to domestic violence in the region.
