My Sisters’ Place strives to end domestic violence and human trafficking by providing free, confidential supportive and legal services, education, and outreach throughout Westchester County, NY.
We are working to create a world in which people of all genders, backgrounds, abilities, and identities have the basic human right to engage in relationships that embrace respect, equality, and safety.
We have many resources for those who think they may be abused or trafficked, including:
- 24/7 Crisis Hotline: 1-800-298-7233 (SAFE)
- Text and chat services
- Confidentially located emergency shelter
- Legal services (family and immigration law)
- Counseling, advocacy, and safety planning for adults and children
- Support groups for adults and children
- Accompaniment to court and other appointments
- Specialized services for families affected by both intimate partner abuse and child abuse/maltreatment
- A partnership with Westchester’s SCPA to ensure that families escaping violence have safe options for their pets
We also have opportunities available for those who are looking to learn more and to get involved, including:
- Off-site training and speaking engagements
- School-based education program
- Volunteer opportunties
