For families and individuals with an urgent need for safety and security, MSP provides access to our confidentially located emergency shelter. The shelter has 20 beds for adults and children, is wheelchair accessible, and is open to victims/survivors of all genders.

At MSP, safety is always our top priority. While in shelter, residents are provided with advocacy, information, referrals, case management, accompaniments, and counseling to begin to heal from the trauma of the abuse. Residents are also able to access other MSP services including legal assistance, support groups, and children’s programs. MSP works with residents to feel fully supported while they are in shelter, and to assist residents with a plan to transition back into a safe community. It is our hope that when they are ready to leave, they do so with the best possibilities for a life of stability and independence.
