Our 2025 Spring Benefit Honoree
LISA OLNEY
Lisa Olney is a treasured member of the My Sisters’ Place family who, through passionate advocacy and creative outreach approaches, is making meaningful change in our communities. She has been a dedicated volunteer and supporter of MSP for more than 20 years, including many years serving on our Board of Directors.
Always keeping MSP in her heart, Lisa has engaged countless individuals and organizations through a variety of drives and awareness campaigns. In 2018, she launched her “Eat, Play, Love Tennis FUNdraiser.” Now entering its eighth year, “Eat, Play, Love” draws supporters from around Westchester for an evening of tennis and philanthropy. With 100% of the proceeds donated to MSP, she has raised tens of thousands of dollars to support our work with survivors. Her compassionate commitment and the inspiring way in which she shares the work of MSP makes such a difference.
A lifelong learner and volunteer, Lisa is a proud graduate of Arizona State University and has a Master’s Degrees in History and Library & Information Science. Working in public relations and communications before embarking on a second career as a librarian, she is currently the Library Manager of the Osborn senior living community in Rye and works as a Reference Librarian at the Rye Free Reading Room and the John C. Hart Memorial Library in Yorktown. Lisa is also a current and active volunteer with USTA/Eastern, Kappa Alpha Theta, and 914Cares.
