Fifty years ago, a group of activists, then known as the Yonkers Womens Task Force, came together to address the pervasive problem of domestic violence in their community.
Now in our fifth decade of this work, we are more committed than ever to ensuring that every individual has the basic human right to be free from gender-based violence and to engage in relationships that embrace the principles of respect, equality, and safety.
