Overview

In 1978 My Sisters’ Place (MSP) opened the first domestic violence shelter in Westchester County, NY.  Today, MSP offers victims of domestic violence and human trafficking two full service, confidential, residential shelters with 38 beds.  Our Center for Residential Services provides a safe home, counseling, after-care services, and a pet-safety foster program alongside our many other services offered throughout the agency.  In opening this new shelter, we’ve increased our capacity to house more families and unlocked safe futures.

The MSP Center for Residential Services’
Shelter Campaign

The campaign includes:

  •  Naming Opportunities a meaningful way to make significant gifts to the MSP Center for Residential Services.  A room or a shelter gift will be acknowledged on our permanent commemorative installation and can be considered/approved as a multi-year pledge.
  • The Dream Maker Wall is proudly displayed at our newest residence. This commemorative wall will reflect support from individuals, families and foundations, corporations and community groups and can be dedicated in honor or in memory of a loved one.
  • Housewarming Registry (HWR) an opportunity to host an event that gathers groups of friends and/or colleagues in your home, office or other meeting space to introduce the mission and programs of MSP and the Shelter Campaign. The registry brochure can be customized to meet the needs and giving capacity of any audience.
