MY SISTERS’ PLACE – CENTER FOR LEGAL SERVICES

My Sisters’ Place strives to end domestic violence and human trafficking by providing education, outreach, and comprehensive supportive and legal services, throughout Westchester County, NY. MSP is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, working so that people of all genders, backgrounds, abilities, and identities can engage in relationships that embrace respect, equality, and safety.

MSP’s Center for Legal Services (CLS) provides expert, trauma-informed, client-centered legal advocacy in family and immigration law matters, providing survivors and their families with access to legal protections and remedies critical to their survival, safety and independence. The CLS team of committed, skilled attorneys and paralegal advocates provide direct client representation, train and supervise private sector pro bono attorneys, and perform community outreach.

MSP recently launched a 5-year strategic plan, charting a clear course for the future. The plan has seen our adoption of a new mission and set of guiding principles, recommitting MSP to the work of creating a world in which every individual has the basic human right to be free from gender-based violence. In 2018, MSP was awarded major grant funding from New York State which has created a unique opportunity to significantly expand CLS. In contemplation of this exciting development, we are looking for dynamic, energetic and forward-thinking team players to join us in carrying out our mission.
